This text and drawing are written as clues to consider the urban development of the Amsterdam south area during my Artist-in-residence at Virtual Museum Zuidas. These are in a book 'Intimate Stories on Absence' published by Onomatopee. ISBN: 978-90-78454-40-3
'Lever worst' as an offering to the urban spirits
Liver sausage, the worst lever,
collective livers from bodies
The shape looks like an incomplete circulation with a lack.
In the Greek myth, Prometheus was punished by the gods for revealing fire to
humans, by being chained to a rock where a vulture or an eagle (or a parakeet)
would peck out his liver, which would regenerate overnight.
The liver is the only human internal organ that actually can regenerate itself
to a significant extent.
